Footage Of A Young Hugh Jackman Auditioning For The Part Of Wolverine

Hugh Jackman has been iconic in the role of Wolverine for the past 17 years and unfortunately, Logan will officially be his last film portraying the character.

In 1999, Jackman first auditioned for the role at 31-years of age. The role was for Brian Singer's 'X-Men,' which was released in 2000. 'I'll never forget my audition. It was on a Wednesday in between the matinee and the evening performance and I ran offstage, I whipped off the leather chaps from Curly and I bolted into SoHo and I put down a tape, and I was a little grumpy at the time which probably helped me.'
