Woman Moves Into Old Mall After Shops Are Converted Into 48 Tiny Homes, Could You Live Like This?
The 'Providence Arcade' is the oldest shopping mall in America, but now has a whole new motive. Even though it was abandoned and bankrupted for a while, this National Historic Landmark is open for business once again. However, now the mall sells only one thing - incredibly tiny homes!
Developer, Evan Granoff, bought the property in 2005, with hopes that he could revive the beautiful building to its former glory. Fortunately, he did exactly that! He ended up converting the upper levels into 48 tiny apartment homes and the smallest units cost about $550 per month. At only 225 square feet, do you think you could live inside of one?
