It's a time-honored tradition to try and get anything with a horn to honk at you. Sometimes it doesn't work, sometimes it does, and then sometimes it works maybe a little too well.
Air horns on giant ships are, obviously, no joke. The KM-110-DVM-H from Kahlenberg Marine Signaling, for instance, is built for ships over 200 meters in length and consumes 64 liters of air in a one-second blast, with an audible range of two nautical miles. Suffice it to say it is very loud.
