He Begins to Sing 'Purple Rain,' But Watch His Hands As The Camera Zooms Out. WOW!

Adam Levine did a fantastic cover of the 1984 classic “Purple Rain,” the title track from Prince’s sixth studio album (and his related Academy Award-winning feature film).

“Purple Rain” (the song) went to No. 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 – while the album has sold more than 22 million copies worldwide.

So did Levine (the lead singer of the band Maroon 5 and host of NBC’s “The Voice”) do the song justice?

Um, yes … Just wait until you see the guitar solo at 3:40!
